The intensely and monumentally political spooks James Clapper and John Brennan via their divisions of intelligence claim, outlining the “Vast Russian Conspiracy” against Hillary Clinton, was taken to new levels of profound absurdity with the release of a 25-page report (teeming with conclusions) which downplays the previous Russian hacking claim and instead focuses “enhanced intervention techniques” by . . . wait . . . here it comes . . . Russian media and Russia Today RT!

You betcha, Sparky, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), James Clapper, and the Director of CIA, John Brennan, are now blaming RT for “influencing” the 2016 election.

No, I swear, you can’t make this stuff up. They might as well be blaming Boris and Natasha for undermining the efforts of Rocky and Bullwinkle.

The DNI poobah Clapper, who resigned rather than serve under PEOTUS Donald Trump is now certain, where he wasn't exactly so certain before, that sophisticated Russian hackers were behind the revelation of the DNC's and John Podesta's emails. This is the same John Podesta whose password was "password." No kidding. Clapper now says "we assess" that the Russians hacked the Podesta and DNC under direct orders of Vladimir Putin for the purpose of releasing information damaging the credibility of Hillary Clinton and helpful to Donald Trump. Not like we’ve ever done anything similar.

POTUS 45 has been skeptical of the Jimmy C’s conclusions and the intelligence community, and rightly so. It’s the same James Clapper who once reassured the Congress that the NSA wasn't conducting surveillance of the American people. Yep, that guy. As U.S. News and World Report noted, his recent resignation didn't assuage critics who believe that James Clapper, like other Obama administration personnel, dodged a perjury bullet when he testified before Congress on the issue of NSA surveillance of American citizens. Oops.
